Agung Galeri
presents these beautiful, high quality prints of a series of works
completed by Balinese female artist, Melati, during the period from
1999 - 2001. This series of paintings proved to be very popular
and were quickly sold out. They depict the vibrant lifestyle of
the people of Bali in typical "Melati" style.
'Kuta Bule Town' - the
first in a series of mixed media paintings on canvas by Melati,
highlights many of the popular areas visited by tourists whilst
holidaying on the Island of Bali. This painting has now been
reproduced as a high quality poster sized print (84.1 x 59.4 cm) and
is a popular keepsake for the many regular visitors to the island.
The painting of 'Kuta Bule Town' was completed in May 2000, and
exhibited at a private showing in Bali of Melati's art works and
the response to all of her paintings by visitors to the exhibition was
remarkable. Due to the impact made by this series of
paintings, Agung Galeri embarked on production of the series of prints
displayed here which are proving to be very popular as a memento of
time spent on Bali - "The Island of the Gods".
